A blend of 75% Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine is all black currant fruits and fresh acidity. Still a little young, the wine will be ready later in 2024.
Tasting Notes
Ruby red robe, fruity nose with notes of strawberries and raspberries. In the mouth it is fruity and smooth, with subtle tannins and a pleasantly smooth finish.
It will pair well with any red meat, pulled pork, pizza or hamburger.
Winery Notes
The Dulon family has been producing wine for over 250 years in the Entre Deux Mers area. Château Grand Jean is the family’s oldest property and Bois de la Croix is a special bottling from that estate.
