Matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks, before resting in a second fill oloroso hogshead, layers of subtle, complex depth shape this powerfully characterful Laphroaig, slowly revealing unexpected notes of tropical fruit beneath our signature style. From honey sweet aromas punctuated with creamy dark toffee and contrasting sage and lLish rounded off with peat and salt.
Our master blender's skill ensures that the peat and smokiness of a 36 year old is preserved, and enhanced by age, striking the optimal balance of flavour to make for a composed and refined taste experience. Limited release of 400 bottles.
